The Al Gallo is a newly renovated family hotel, the decor in typically
Venetian style perfect for a quiet and long planned vacation in Venice,
equipped with all the comforts.

The hotel is located just less than five minutes walk from
one of the best squares in venice, the campo santa
margherita. this square, lined with 14th and 15th century
venice houses, is always full of life, children playing,
students from the nearby venice international university
of ca foscari reading newspapers in the bars, families
sitting under the trees watching the world go by. it is
one of the more attractive campos in the city and it has
not been ruined by mass tourism. it still has a very
venetian flavour. the nearest vaporetto stop is san toma
on the grand canal and there is a traghetto gondola ferry
six minutes walk away, behind the campo san barnaba. if
you want a trip on a gondola without paying a fortune or
being forced to listen to o sole mio, this is a good
alternative. and you can reach saint mark s square very
quickly from here.
