Hotel Description:
An old farmhouse in the Maremma, the Antico Casale has regained its ancient splendor after the
restoration that has transformed it into an elegant and refined Hotel with typical
restaurant. The Antico Casale is not far from the old village of Scansano, surrounded by the
rolling hills and the delicious vineyards of the Tuscan countryside. Every room has a
bathroom, telephone, color TV and mini bar. An ideal place for horse riding holidays and
trekking. The horses are chosen and trained with care by qualified instructors both for riding
in the countryside or in paddocks. The center is equipped with large stables, saddles and all
accessories. The month of December every type of riding activity will be stopped for

Driving Directions
By car: From Rome: Take the Aurelia towards Civitavecchia. Then direction Grosseto.
After Orbetello turn to the right to Scansano. Follow the sign to Scansano. Once arrived in
the town take to Manciano-Saturnia. 2.5 km after Scansano on the right there is the Antico
Casale Hotel. From Florence: The Hotel can be reached by the A1 Motorway. Exit
Florence-Certosa. Then proceed for Siena, Siena to Grosseto. Exit Grosseto East to Scansano.
Once arrived in the town, take direction Manciano-Saturnia. 2.5 km after Scansano on the
right there is the Antico Casale Hotel. By plane: The Hotel is located 150 km from the
Fiumicino Rome Airport and 150 km from the Florence Airport.
